Q Discussion Topic In many ways the Bible is the story of God's rescue operation for humankind. His plan includes the choosing of Abraham and his descendants. What, in the biblical narrative you read this past week, indicates that God's concern is for the whole world, not just the children of Abraham? Cite at least two biblical references.

The image that we see God in Genesis 1 is that he is our creator to our world. He even created Adam and Eve base on his form and give life to the land of his creation. Additionally, God did state his desire in Genesis 1 that "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. This shows God's desire was to multiply the population without any restriction. However, the story of Noah was contradicted to the beginning of Genesis 1 as God promises not to destroy the world as he did to the Flood.
